How to set up adsense
Google Adsense Ads are all over the Internet. You see them on websites for large companies, as well as personal webpages. Adsense is Google's way of sharing the advertising revenue. It also brings in millions of dollars to them in advertising. Google Adsense is easy to set up. You can have them up and running in the space of an afternoon on your own website. Read on to learn more.
1.Apply for Google Adsense. You must first submit your website to Google. On the main page, there is a link for Google Advertising. The link walks you through the forms you need to fill out to submit your site. You will receive an email once your site is approved.
2.Log into your Google Adsense account using your user name and password. Tabs at the top of the page will guide you through different tasks for your Adsense account. Use the tab "Adsense Setup."
3.Decide which type of ad you want on your site. There are four choices: Adsense for content, Adsense for Search, Referrals and Adsense for Mobile. These each have a short explanation with them. For most websites, the popular choice is Adsense for Content.
4.Follow the setup questions. It will take you through the options of link or graphics and then color choices. These are all personal preferences of how you would like to have the Google Adsense appear on your page.
5.Copy the HTML code that is provided. It will appear in a box for you to highlight and copy.
6.Edit your source code for your web site. If you use an editor or a site builder, open the page that you would like to have your Google Adsense code appear. Paste the code to the location you want.
7.Publish your webpage. Your Google Adsense will now be displayed.
